Zenika’s commitment is to integrate environmental stewardship, economic growth, and social equity for lasting global impact.
As President and co-founder, I have considered, since the creation of Zenika in 2006, that it is essential to adopt a responsible and sustainable approach in all our activities. Our actions have an impact well beyond our sole commercial scope, as a company, we have a responsibility to contribute positively to society and the environment, while ensuring our long-term economic success. Zenika aims to have a dual social and societal role.
We think that Zenika’s values and CSR philosophy are closely related, from the highest standards of governance, business ethics and legal compliance we implement across all our agencies to actions with positive impact on the communities in which our employees are implicated such as knowledge sharing, mentoring or sponsorship of associations.
We attach great importance to environmental sustainability. We strive to minimize our environmental footprint from Zenika's operations to the creation of sustainable digital services for our customers. We promote this design approach by training our collaborators and integrating practices into our offers as we are doing for Agile or Craftsmanship.
I am convinced that increasing already existing CSR actions at Zenika will strengthen ourselves and contribute to our long-term success. We recognize that this will require effort and change, but I am confident that we are ready to meet this challenge collectively.
Since 2019, we evaluate our environmental footprint (first focusing on the French agencies, wideding to all of them now), in order to have a clear vision of the axes where we can improve ourselves. As many we started by changing electricity suppliers, we then act on our IT equipment, our daily trip by offering sustainable mobility allowance. We are currently analyzing the impact of our purchases.
Our conviction is that we must make our profession more egalitarian. We opted to introduce and make programming accessible to younger people and the global population. We present digital development professions to the public and demystify the image they may have of them.
We support local and national initiatives linked to our profession and our human values in different ways. We host or sponsor some events organized by local communities either technical or agile. In skills sponsorship, each colleague has the possibility to carry out missions for associations during working time. And last but not least, we also financially support a beekeeper for years now and 6 associations linked to our values.

The diversity of profiles (cultural origins, ages, disability, gender, etc.) constitutes an enormous strength for Zenika. As different as we are, we are equally passionate. We know that we are not perfect, but we work to improve our actions to give each one the same chance to have a full professional and personal life.
We advocates for mitigating digital technology's environmental impact through design changes and education for ourselves, our client and the non professional. We assist our clients in addressing ethical, legal, and financial challenges related to sustainability. As part of Alt-Impact we are working with french organizations (ADEME, CNRS, Inria) to raise awareness to grade students. Consequuntur magni dolores eos qui ratione voluptatem sequi nesciunt. Diversity creates value, which is why we have created an internal awareness-raising program called "zDiversity":
- Mission handicap
- Gender equality
- Equality in private and professional life
- Gender equity
An action plan is linked to the program throughout the year. It is supported by Human Resources and employees, who are offered training and awareness-raising activities on the subject throughout the year.
Zenika is concerned about the diversity of profiles and our objective is to move towards a more equitable distribution in terms of the proportion of men and women in the workforce. In 2021, the Women Empowerment Circle is launching a course in France for women at Zenika, the aim of which is to take their place by freeing themselves from biases and limiting beliefs and by acting assertively.
